The hotel complex itself is really interesting and so the view from the balcony. Staff nice and helpful. Very relaxing.
In the description of the hotel on Booked.net it says there is a bar and restaurant, room service. Unfortunately these facilities were not available. They just served breakfast in the morning and after that no food or drink on the site. Also the room was very basic, Having booked a studio instead of a basic room I was expecting something more. It seemed like despite being a unique hotel for the style, It has been abandoned by the owner resulting in a inevitable decline. Maybe the should rethink the room prices....

My Husband & I spent one night at Ulun Ubud Resort & thought the view was awesome. Staff very friendly & helpful the only difficulty was the steps to & from the room I have a problem with my left leg & knee & found it quite challenging. But overall would definately reccomend taking the time to go & stay at Ulun it was a spectacular place.

Fantastic view. The staff are very nice and accomodating.
The rooms are unfortunately in squalid condition. Dirty, moldy, decrepit plumbing. Not worth the price. Pictures do not reflect the current state of the rooms.

amazing views from private balconies, gorgeous pool overlooking the valley, beautiful wood carvings and ceilings
Navigating nearly a thousand steps to access facilities is unnecessarily exhausting!!!

Quiet atmospheric location overlooking verdant steep narrow river valley. Individual units with character and a private verandah where breakfast can be taken. Good local style breakfast.
Bathroom could be better. Old doors don't fit so well, not so good at keeping out insects etc. Continental style beakfast not so good. WiFi in lobby wasn't connecting correctly to servers during my stay; however working internet was available at the Fly Cafe, a short distance away.

The views from my suite were fine, surrounded by lush greenery and the tranquil atmosphere. I loved the private plunge pool. The staff were friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile. Breakfast offered delicious options, and the fresh juices were a highlight. The numerous stairs around the hotel were quite a challenge, especially when returning from the restaurant. The restaurant menu was limited, and a couple of meals I had were underwhelming, notably the cold kway teow goreng, which didn't meet expectations. The room cleaning could have been more thorough as I noticed some minor issues, like ants. My experience with the shuttle service also left something to be desired, as there were times I had to wait longer than anticipated for a ride back to the hotel. Beautiful location, but it requires a bit of patience with the logistics.

The hotel is very dirty. There is a lack of maintenance in the rooms. The walls, bathrooms, etc are very old and dirty.

The view of the jungle is great. The hotel is like an old ancient city. The staff is very helpful. The shuttlebus service is very good.
Bathroom would need some upgrade.
